What A Reflexology Treatment Session Involves & Fees
What to expect at a therapeutic reflexology treatment session
On the first visit the Shelley will go through a short form with you to determine your health needs, then she will ask if you would like your feet or hands to be worked on, or both.
If feet, you would be asked to remove shoes and socks and roll leggings up to the knee, then made comfortable in a reclining lounger ( if at clients house a little space is needed for this) Shelley has wipes to cleanse feet with and will begin the session which usually lasts about 1 hour (shorter session are available, longer with full feet and hand sessions)
You will be asked to provide a towel when Shelley visits you at your home - otherwise everything is provided.
You will be asked if the pressure is alright for you (not too soft or too hard), and if Shelley comes across a tender spot, let her know.
Shelley uses a special foot powder or cream for the feet and cream for the hands. The client can lay back, enjoy the tranquil music and relax while reflexology massage takes place.
