Shelley has worked at the Helen Rollaston Centre ( North Middlesex Hospital, London ) for cancer patients and their families. Now based in North London N.11 (more travel details) Shelley works from home but is also able to provide a mobile service to clients  either at their home or work place. In 2003 Shelley was so impressed with the benefits she gained from reflexology treatment that she decided to train as a reflexologist herself. By 2005 she had become a fully qualified reflexologist -. (more info).  

During her studies she was mentored by Michael Keet, Shelley's  own experience of reflexology, the knowledge that she has gained from studying and her experience as a practitioner has continued to develop her ability to offer reflexology to clients, with a firm belief in the benefits of the therapy and an understanding of how to practice it. Reflecting on these experiences Shelley says:  

“Through out my life I have always enjoyed massaging people’s feet and believe there is a direct connection between having happy feet and having a healthy body and mind. When I met a Reflexologist and discussed the idea of training professionally, I asked her whether it was exhausting to give so many sessions, and she told me ‘the opposite occurs - the energy given is also received’, and I have certainly found this to be true.''

''Learning reflexology has been a joy and a great experience, and to this day it does not cease to amaze me how effective reflexology is as a holistic therapy. After qualifying as a Reflexologist I also took the opportunity to study Hand reflexology taking advantage of Michael Keats expertise in this field (co-author of “Hand Reflexology” Hamlyn, 2003).I quickly became aware  that many people also appreciated hand reflexology as well as foot. My clients enjoy both hands and feet treatments.

Shelley Graham is a New Zealander who moved to the UK in 1981. Her vocational interests have included youth work and lecturing in Media Studies. Shelley has  a BA in Film and Video, an MA in Screenwriting and practical experience in script writing, producing and directing films. Her personal interests now include art and and ceramics, where she exhibits her work and is commissioned to make large garden sculptures.
